Pumpkin Patches in Scotland (updated for 2025)

It’s that time of year again. You may not want to be thinking about pumpkins in August, but the first Scottish pumpkin patches have started opening their bookings for October! Some people feel that pumpkin patches are a new fangled trend brought over from the US, but Autumn is my absolutely favourite time of year and our annual pumpkin patch trip is now something I very much look forward to (possibly more than the kids…)

I’ve been keeping a list of pumpkin patches across Scotland for a couple years now, and three years ago I plotted them all on to on a map, making it much easier to find the ones nearest to you!

(Orange = patches confirmed for 2025; Grey = patches yet to be confirmed; Black = previous patches that are now permanently closed).

I’ve checked all the pumpkin patches from last year and have updated the ones already confirmed. I’ll be regularly going through them all to check what their status is for this year. Those that have been confirmed for 2025 are marked in orange, and I’ve added any relevant details and links to the individual entries. Just click on the pins to open up the details. Those that have mentioned pumpkins on their website or social media, but have not confirmed yet have been greyed out. There are also a couple previous popular patches that have now permanently closed, but I’ve kept them in for anyone not in the know yet. So, if like me you are eager to plan your Autumn festivities now, look for the orange pins!

There are also a dozen or so other places that had pumpkin patches last year, but have neither confirmed nor denied yet for this year. I’ve taken the off the map for now, but will regularly be checking them and will add them back in if anything changes.

One last thing, it goes without saying that I can take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information. I have researched the most up to date information for each venue to the best of my ability, but it is your responsibility to double check the details before you head off anywhere (e.g. is pre-booking required, have any of the details changed, are there any cancellations).

Unless indicated, the information comes from the relevant pages of the patches themselves. The map does not claim to be a definitive list, so if you know of any other Scottish Pumpkin Patches – new ones, returning ones, old favourites – that are missing, then let me know and I will add them in (and will of course credit you for the info).
