Free Burns Night Printable Activity Pack for Kids (updated)
January is often described as the worst month. Too dark, too long, nothing to look forward to. But in Scotland, that’s not entirely true – we have Burns Night to look forward to! every year on 25th January, Scotland celebrates its national bard, Robert Burns (a.k.a. Rabbie Burns). A few years ago I put together a wee activity pack for my kids withm some themed puzzles and a colouring sheet. Just a little something to keep them busy and get them in the mood for celebrating. And I roped in my resident illustrator (a.k.a. the husband) for some custom Bear & Fox illustrations. For 2026, I updated the pack to include a few more puzzles, plus a bonus recipe.

The Burns Night Activity pack includes:
- A seek-and-find puzzle
- A maze
- A colouring sheet
- A picture Sudoku
- A word search
- A recipe sheet
All with a Burns Night or Scottish theme. Answers to the puzzles are included too.
As a wee Burns Night gift from us to you, you can download a PDF of the activities for free, no strings attached. Just click on the download link below:
